Delhi (renewablepress) - During the delegation trip with the German Minister of Economics and Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck, Next2Sun AG has set the course for its international growth. With the signing of three Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), Wattkraft Industries Pvt. Ltd., Khare Energy Prvt. Ltd. and Parava Institute of Agricultural Science, Next2Sun, pioneer of agrivoltaics and inventor of the vertical bifacial photovoltaic system, has initiated important cooperations for the accelerated growing Indian market.

In New Delhi, Next2Sun AG signed a memorandum of understanding with NSEFI, the umbrella organization of all solar energy players in India, on scientific research and data sharing for vertical bifacial agrivoltaics. "We are very confident that vertical bifacial agrivoltaics will be an important building block for the energy transition in India, especially in rural areas. We are very excited to work with the pioneer and inventor of vertical bifacial technology Next2Sun and benefit from their experience in Germany," said Subrahmanyam Pulipaka, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NSEFI. "We see huge potential in India and are honored to demonstrate the power of our technology to NSEFI and explore it further together." said Next2Sun Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sascha Krause-Tünker at the signing ceremony.

In addition, Next2Sun AG has entered into another MoU with its Indian distribution partner Wattkraft Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Khare Energy Pvt. Ltd. for the installation of a first pilot project in India. Khare Energy is a leading renewable energy EPC company in central India that develops, builds, owns and operates renewable energy projects and distributed solar power projects that generate energy for residential, commercial, agricultural, government and industrial customers. "We are very excited to be working with technology leader Next2Sun on the first pilot project in India," said Manish Khare, Managing Director of Khare Energy. Mr Divya Prash Choraria, Managing Director, Wattkraft Industries Pvt. The contract signing took place during the delegation trip of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection in the presence of Federal Minister and Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck. "Solar energy is one of the key technologies for the green, sustainable and reliable electricity grid of the future. To reach these goals it is paramount to reduce land use conflicts. Agri solar systems like bifacial solar cells are ideal to allow valuable farmland to be used simultaneously for agriculture and food on the one side, and green energy on the other side." said Federal Minister and Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck at the signing ceremony.

About Next2Sun

Next2Sun is the inventor, innovation and technology leader in vertical bifacial photovoltaics. The basic concept of vertically installed, bifacial solar modules shifts solar power production to times of usually low availability and avoids the overbuilding of agricultural land. For the success of the energy transition, this means fewer conflicts of use, better coverage of electricity demand and lower storage requirements. Next2Sun has developed a wide range of products based on the vertical bifacial system technology and the patented frame system developed for it, and brought them to market maturity, in particular the vertical bifacial Agri-PV system and the bifacial solar fence. As a result, Next2Sun today offers solutions for a variety of applications for the agricultural, public, commercial and private sectors as a multi-award-winning market and technology leader.
