WKN USA, LLC renamed to BayWa r.e. Wind, LLC

Munich - Effective February 27, 2013, WKN USA, LLC legally changed its name to BayWa r.e. Wind, LLC. The company has been an active member of the BayWa r.e. renewable energy group (BayWa r.e.) since August 2011 and is based in San Diego, California. Since March 2013 BayWa r.e. holds a 95% shareholding in BayWa r.e. Wind, LLC.

Florian Zerhusen (CEO BayWa r.e. Wind, LLC ) and his team of eight professionals is focused and specialized in the development and realization of wind energy projects in North America. BayWa r.e. previously announced that it has brought its first two U.S. wind projects online in December 2012. In Texas, it completed its Mozart project utilizing twelve Nordex N100 2,5MW turbines and in Palm Springs, California its Wagner project using two Vestas V90 3MW turbines. Both projects are owned and operated by BayWa r.e..
