PowerWind extends its market position in the Polish community segment

- Two additional wind turbines of type PowerWind 56 installed
- Medium-sized enterpriser gained as new customer

Hamburg - After a successful first quarter 2011, PowerWind has further extended its market position in the Polish community segment for project sizes of up to 10 MW. Two additional PowerWind 56 turbines have been installed in Poland already this year. The foundation work has already begun for a third turbine. At the beginning of March, a medium-sized enterpriser could be further gained as a customer. His PowerWind 56 will be installed in the course of this year in Podlachia.

This success is the result of the orientation on the part of PowerWind to the special needs of community-scale customers. Besides their interest in technologically high-grade products, this customer group requires organizational and financial consulting during the project development process, as well as made-to-order service solutions. \"Our PowerWind contacts in Sales and Project Management were accessible around the clock. Questions were answered right away and problems solved to our complete satisfaction\", stated Wojciech Misiaszek, General Manager of the local project developer Tele-Energia. His first PowerWind turbine was installed at the end of February in Jabramowo (Warmia-Masuria). The installations of his second and third PowerWind turbines are already planned for 2011 and 2012.

Up to now, PowerWind has sold more than 120 wind turbines worldwide. The company is carrying on many promising conversations in Poland for further projects involving both the 900 kW PowerWind 56 as well as the new 2.5 MW PowerWind 100 products.
