25 years of OSTWIND at HUSUM Wind 2017
- Largest trade fair for the German wind energy sector takes place between 12 and 15 September 2017Regensburg/Strasbourg/Prague (renewablepress) - The year 2017 marks a turning point: a narrow corridor in the expansion of wind energy, a purely market-based remuneration of green electricity, a half-baked auction procedure, and an energy transition whose implementation varies wildly in quality from state to state – these are the challenges the sector and OSTWIND itself faces.
- Traditional industry meet-up dedicated to the national parliamentary elections and discussion of the EEG auction procedure
Safely weathering difficult times
OSTWIND provides solutions and offers the entire range of wind-energy services from a single source. In doing so, the medium-sized corporate group draws on its 25 years of experience as a successful developer. So it´s no surprise that even in difficult times OSTWIND remains a sought-after partner to citizens´ energy cooperatives, municipalities, energy companies, public service providers and regional energy suppliers – especially when it comes to wind power in forests.
An independent family company
OSTWIND is an independent family company – founded by Gisela Wendling-Lenz and Ulrich Lenz, who today make up the management board of OSTWIND AG together with Fabien Kayser and Bernd Kiermeier. The company´s managing directors in Germany are Dr Rolf Bungart and Jörg Zinner. The medium-sized corporate group based in Germany, France and the Czech Republic project-manages, installs and operates wind farms, and operationally manages them where requested. Since 1992, OSTWIND has planned, installed and connected up to the grid 540 wind turbines with an output of 920 MW. OSTWIND is an expert in project-managing, installing and operating wind turbines and wind farms – regionally, nationally and throughout Europe. See for yourself! You will find us in Hall 2, Stand C10.

About OSTWIND AG
The OSTWIND Group based in Regensburg (Germany) and Strasbourg (France) has developed, built and connected up 603 wind turbines with a total capacity of 1085 MW.
But the skills of OSTWIND go far beyond wind power, as we have also implemented numerous successful solar-projects. In addition to classic project development and project management, this independent family business offers in-house operational management, innovative project services and attractive public investment schemes.
