25 years of OSTWIND at HUSUM Wind 2017

- Largest trade fair for the German wind energy sector takes place between 12 and 15 September 2017
- Traditional industry meet-up dedicated to the national parliamentary elections and discussion of the EEG auction procedure

Regensburg/Strasbourg/Prague (renewablepress) - The year 2017 marks a turning point: a narrow corridor in the expansion of wind energy, a purely market-based remuneration of green electricity, a half-baked auction procedure, and an energy transition whose implementation varies wildly in quality from state to state – these are the challenges the sector and OSTWIND itself faces.

Safely weathering difficult times

An independent family company
OSTWIND is an independent family company – founded by Gisela Wendling-Lenz and Ulrich Lenz, who today make up the management board of OSTWIND AG together with Fabien Kayser and Bernd Kiermeier. The company´s managing directors in Germany are Dr Rolf Bungart and Jörg Zinner. The medium-sized corporate group based in Germany, France and the Czech Republic project-manages, installs and operates wind farms, and operationally manages them where requested. Since 1992, OSTWIND has planned, installed and connected up to the grid 540 wind turbines with an output of 920 MW.
