Transaction for second wind farm in UK is completed

– RENERCO acquires another project from RWE npower renewables

Munich - The transaction for the purchase of Kildrummy Wind Farm has been completed on 17 August 2011 under the terms of the framework agreement concluded between RENERCO Renewable Energy Concepts AG, a Company of BayWa r.e Group, and RWE npower renewables.

The Kildrummy site is located 50 km west of Aberdeen and construction of the wind farm is expected to start in early 2012. Turbine model selection is currently being conducted although the wind farm is expected to have a capacity of around 18 MW.
