Nordex entering into a contract for 215 MW with Eolia

- Up to 86 large scale turbines to be delivered for wind farms in Spain

Hamburg - Nordex Ibérica has entered into a frame contract with Spanish investor and developer Eolia Renovables, Madrid, for the delivery of up to 86 N90 and N100 (2,500 MW) multi-megawatt turbines, equivalent to total capacity of 215 megawatts (MW). The turbines are to be used in projects which Eolia is developing in the provinces of Castilla y León and Catalonia. Deliveries are to be completed by 2010.

Eolia Renovables will be completing wind farms with a capacity of around 1,000 MW by 2010. The company invests in 43 projects of electricity generation from renewable sources.
