WPD obtains permits for Spanish projects totalling 94.5 MW
Bremen, 4. May 2007. International wind farm developer WPD, Bremen, has obtained two permits for two wind farms in Andalusia totalling 94.5 MW through its Spanish subsidiary SERSA. In April, the Ministry of Industry for Andalusia granted SERSA the „Autorización Administrativa“ for the „Coto de don Lucio“ wind farm project with a total rated power of 49.5 MW and for the „La Dehesa“ wind farm project with a total rated power of 45 MW. Both wind farms are located on a ridge of the Sierra de Baza at an altitufe of 1.100 above sea level. Last year, WPD successfully developed and sold a 64.5 MW wind farm project in Castilla y Leon in Northern Spain.
