Conergy takes over Canada

(Hamburg/Edmonton) Following the majority takeover of ETI SOLAR Energy Technologies Inc., Hamburg-based Conergy AG (ISIN DE 00060 40025) now also ranks amongst the leading solar system providers in Canada. Thanks to the customer-oriented solar distribution network with more than 100 trade partners, Conergy is strengthening its position in the fast-growing regions of North America. Steve Wiebe, the current president and founder of the company, developed the young company into Canada’s second largest solar company with a turnover of around € 5.4 million and a market share of over 10%.

“With our customer-oriented marketing approach, we are the fastest growing solar company in Canada and we fit perfectly into the culture of the Conergy Group. We anticipate a vast increase in potential over the coming years, for which we are ideally set up with our product and service expertise in addition to the purchasing power of Conergy. In Conergy, however, we have found the ideal partner to allow us to grow into a leading provider of holistic regenerative energy solutions. In the future, we will be offering our customers the Conergy product range with its solar, wind and bioenergy systems that have been proven worldwide”, says Steve Wiebe delightedly, who is also on the Board of Directors of CanSIA (The Canadian Solar Industries Association) and who will continue to head up the management of Conergy Canada in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing , Kyle Kasawski.
