Conergy signs a strategic cooperation agreement with Voith Industrial Services

Conergy Services is continuing to expand its offerings in managing wind turbines. Thanks to the advantage of combined know-how, customers profit from a universal service that can also be fine-tuned to meet individual needs. An optimised and highly modern management system reduces running costs for the operator and maximises the annual energy yield."The cooperation between operator, manager, service provider and component supplier is particularly important in increasing the availability of replacement parts. This allows down times at wind power plants to be kept to a minimum," enthuses Detmar Dettmann, Managing Director of Conergy Services GmbH, on the subject of the cooperation with Voith."Plant investment costs, which can be very high, are thus safeguarded to the greatest degree possible, and maintenance costs are made calculable in the long term," continues Dettmann. To minimise long interruptions in service at wind turbines, the cooperation includes measures to continually optimise processes, processes that also integrate the supplier industry.

The new cooperation agreement gives Conergy Services access to Voith's highly qualified maintenance team, spanning all of Germany, and the company's wide-reaching warehouse hub of replacement parts for many wind power plant manufacturers. This step will enable Conergy customers to receive maintenance and repair services more quickly, more effectively and more efficiently than is even already possible with their existing service.
