CIO of a DAX company switches to Conergy AG

Hamburg, 21st August 2006 - With Jürgen Schröder, Conergy has gained a renowned Chief Information Officer (CIO) for global expansion of its IT structures. Since 1998, this MBA graduate has been responsible for worldwide IT activities at the pharmaceutical group Schering AG that is listed on the DAX, and is an expert in IT governance and continued development of finance-oriented IT controlling. Conergy AG, represented in 22 countries, is currently driving global expansion of IT.

As regards, continued development of worldwide IT structures at Conergy, Jürgen Schröder will support the team surrounding the Head of IT and Processes Dr. Klaus Plath, and in future will report directly to CFO Heiko Piossek.
