PNE WIND AG receives milestone payment amounting to EUR 45 million for the \"Gode Wind\" offshore projects
Cuxhaven - Today the Danish company, DONG Energy A/S, announced that it has taken the decision to construct and finance the \"Gode Wind\" 1 and 2 offshore wind farms in the North Sea. PNE WIND AG developed the \"Gode Wind\" offshore wind farms and sold them to DONG Energy in 2012. PNE WIND AG will continue to act as the service provider for DONG Energy in the development of this project.
The sales contract includes an agreement to make milestone payments upon reaching specified project stages. One of these milestones is this decision to construct and finance the project which has now been taken by DONG Energy. PNE WIND AG is therefore receiving an additional milestone payment amounting to EUR 45 million.

DONG Energy is one of the leading offshore wind energy companies. In 2013, DONG began with the construction of \"Borkum Riffgrund I\", its first German wind farm project which was also developed by PNE WIND AG and intends to invest about EUR 1.25 billion. In addition, DONG Energy is also carrying out further development on the \"Borkum Riffgrund II\" offshore wind farm which it also purchased from PNE WIND AG at the end of 2009.
Currently, PNE WIND AG is developing twelve offshore wind farm projects, of which it owns six itself and is the service provider for six additional projects which have already been sold.
