L&L Rotorservice GmbH renamed BayWa r.e. Rotor Service GmbH

Basdahl - On 29/01/2013 L&L Rotorservice GmbH, Basdahl, joined forces with a notable member of the renewable energy sector and became BayWa r.e. Rotor Service GmbH.

This company has been actively engaged in the thriving wind power market throughout Europe for two decades. The company\'s special R&D work, as well as its extensive range of services, are highly regarded in the wind energy sector. Core activities are centred on the maintenance and repair of rotor blades of all kinds, both at the factory and on site. Low loader transportation, essential for the job, is all part of the service offered in-house by the company. The newly named BayWa r.e. Rotor Service leads the market with its comprehensive range of services. It is one of only a few enterprises that offers specifically tailored training programmes for the sector dedicated to fibre reinforced composites and component manufacturing.

The Managing Director of BayWa r.e. Rotor Service, Reinhard Lührs, emphasises that the merger with the BayWa AG at the beginning of 2012 was an important step towards an exciting future, enabling the Group to meet the ever-increasing demands of this sector in the company\'s time-honoured sustainable fashion.

Under its new name, BayWa r.e. Rotor Service GmbH will remain as strong a partner as ever for all services associated with the wind energy sector. The synergetic effects of associating with the BayWa r.e. Group will generate additional benefits for customers and business partners alike.
