Bureau Veritas is one of the first companies accredited for Wind Turbine Inspections according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020

Hamburg - Bureau Veritas Industry Services GmbH has in summer 2012 successfully completed the accreditation procedure from the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) and is since then one of the first turbine inspection companies in Germany, recognized as notified body for wind turbine inspections in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020:2004, Type A.

The accreditation comprises the inspections of wind turbines already in operation, by means of periodical audit (WKP – wiederkehrende Prüfung), inspections after commissioning and inspections before acceptance of the wind turbine, as well as at the end of the designed life time.
