New Service Manager in the wind sector

Ostseebad Rerik - On 1st January 2011, Dirk Behrends took up the position of Service Manager for the wind energy business of Voith Industrial Services in Rerik. Among other things, the 36-year old was previously responsible for Claim Management and had worked as Area Manager for South Germany and recently as Area Manager Central & Eastern Europe and Resource Manager for Siemens Power Wind GmbH. At Voith Industrial Services, he is taking over management of the Service Team with a total of 54 staff members.

The core skills of Voith Industrial Services Wind include the professional maintenance and servicing of all components associated with wind energy systems, as well as inspection, assembly and repowering. The consistent development and implementation of status-oriented, preventive or also cyclic maintenance concepts, permanent monitoring and optimization of the system technologies significantly improve the availability while boosting output.
