Record business year 2009 gives reason to celebrate

- Solar wholesale trader PV5 celebrates 10-year anniversary

Kleinostheim - PV5 Solarconcept GmbH, the leading specialized wholesale trader for photovoltaic systems in the Rhine Main Area celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2010. In order to celebrate this, the company opened the doors of its headquarters in Kleinostheim near Aschaffenburg on May 15 and invited partners and customers. One of the prominent congratulators was, among others, Dr. Franz Alt, journalist, author and awardee of the German and European solar prize. He talked about the topic \"Sunny prospects – how everyone can profit from climate protection\". PV5 welcomed around 500 guests in its headquarters. They had the opportunity to obtain information from several presentations performed by partners such as Schott Solar, Kaco, Fronius, SMA, Sovello and Isofotón.

\"For us, 2009 really was a record year and therefore a successful transition to our anniversary year 2010\" say both managing directors of PV5, Klaus Syndikus and Ralf Hubert. Only last year, PV5 created fifteen new jobs and could increase its turnover by more than 67 percent to 57 million euros. \"After ten years on the market, we have experienced a lot from the beginnings of the industrial sector up to the solar boom and the cuts in the promotion of solar energy and we are optimally prepared for the future,\" the managing directors agree. \"Moreover, PV5 maintains its course and continues to rely on selected long-term partners,\" adds Klaus Syndikus, who exclusively cooperates with manufacturers producing in Europe.

In spite of international branch offices, PV5 is especially active in the Rhine Main Area. In cooperation with the municipalities and local authorities of Aschaffenburg, Neumarkt, Miltenberg, Koblenz and Mainz, the company launched regional roof programs such as the 500 roofs program for Aschaffenburg and vicinity. Within the framework of these initiatives, the participants received support in financing and planning. Due to the positive response, PV5 is already planning two more programs in 2010.
