MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH completes executive management with J

- M+W Zander successfully completes refinancing Stuttgart

Stuttgart - The refinancing of the company required in the wake of the acquisition of MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH by VICTORY Industriebeteiligung AG was successfully completed this week. At the same time, the company completed the executive management with the appointment of Jürgen Wild.

"We have succeeded in replacing past agreements with lines through new banks at conditions commensurate with the market. They take into account the outstanding earnings situation of the Group that led to the record year 2007 and the high growth potential for the coming years," said CFO Hannes Rosenthaler with a great deal of satisfaction.

At the same time, the company is announcing that the Supervisory Board of MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH appointed Jürgen Wild (46) as Managing Director at its most recent meeting.

Jürgen Wild joins Wolfgang Häfele and Hannes Rosenthaler to complete the executive management. The focus of his new position will be the largest segment of facility engineering and automation engineering with sales worth almost 1.7 billion euros. Jürgen Wild will also hold the position of spokesman for the Board of Management.

Georg Stumpf, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company, spoke about the appointment of the new Managing Director and Spokesman as follows: "Jürgen Wild is a facility engineering executive with international experience who has held positions with major companies such as Alstom, Cegelec, VA Tech and Austrian Energy & Environment and brought into effect successful performance and long-term growth. We anticipate that his involvement will strengthen our market position as one of the world’s leading high-tech engineering companies."
