New name for Phoenix Solar subsidiary- Ph

Sulzemoos - Phönix Projekt & Service AG, a subsidiary of Phoenix Solar AG, was renamed as Phoenix Solar Energy Investments AG last December. The reasons behind this measure are the internationalisation of the Phoenix Solar Group and the growing demand for photovoltaic power plants by domestic and international investors.

Phoenix Solar Energy Investments AG was founded under the name of SOL AG in 1998. In the spring of 2002, it was taken over as a wholly owned subsidiary under the name of Phönix Projekt & Service AG by the former Phönix SonnenStrom AG.

To date, Phoenix Solar Energy Investments AG has implemented photovoltaic plants in Germany and abroad with a total capacity of more than 28 MW and an investment volume of around EUR 122 million. The company is responsible for project development and the sale of large-scale power plants. The plants are built and operated by the parent company Phoenix Solar AG. The customers of Phoenix Solar Energy Investments AG include investment companies, private and institutional investors in Germany and abroad, as well as German local authorities opting for renewable energies. Only recently a contract for the construction of a solar park with a peak output of one megawatt has been signed with the municipality of Walldorf.
