Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG publishes Report on 3rd Quarter and gives further Information on Situation of the Company

Hamburg, 24. November, 2006: - Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG has today published its report on the third quarter 06 on its German website www.rpse.de. Apart from the usual presentation of business development in the third quarter, detailed information is given on the particular occurrences after 30/09/2006.

On 11/11/2006, Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG announced a change in the Executive Board as well as a serious revision of the targets projected so far.

Based on improvements in the internal controlling system and decisive restructuring measures, steps have been introduced to bring the company back on the path of solid growth. The quarterly report published today is also meant to give an overview on the current situation of the company and its future provisions.

The company emphasises its still solid financial basis and expects a positive result again for 2007 after having successfully implemented the restructuring measures. Core of the strategy will be an even stronger concentration on project business with the high yield thin-film technology.
It is based to a large extent on the extensive supply contracts signed this year with thin-film module suppliers, such as First Solar and Bangkok Solar.

Demand for thin-film modules increases further due to their profitable price-performance ration and their high product quality.
