Online CMS certified by GL Wind Energie

VIBROWEB XP Online CMS and the OMNITREND database software from PRÜFTECHNIK have been certified by GL WindEnergie. The certification document was handed over to Roland Schühle, Managing Director of PRÜFTECHNIK Condition Monitoring GmbH, on the 20th of September 2005 by the management of Germanische Lloyd WindEnergie GmbH (Christian Nath and Bodo Helm) and Project Manager Thorsten Muuß during the ‘HUSUM Wind’ trade fair. Hence VIBROWEB XP meets the requirements of the "Guideline for the Certification of Condition Monitoring Systems for Wind Power Plants (WPP)" that came into force on 1st November 2003. The vendor-neutral PRÜFTECHNIK accreditation applies for static RPM and variable RPM WPPs with gearboxes. "As an independent system manufacturer, we regard this certification from GL Wind Energie as confirmation that the condition monitoring of wind power plants is gaining increasing importance and that condition monitoring will become mandatory for future offshore plants. This is confirmed by initial projects in America and in Asia as well as the certification guideline of GL for offshore plants," said Roland Schühle during the handover of the certification document.
