Kenersys order pipeline increasing - Good prospects for manufacturer of wind turbine generators

- Project deal for three K100 2.5MW closed with Swedish investor.
- In spite of past year`s difficult market environment the wind turbine manufacturer Kenersys keeps on growing.
- According to managing director frame contracts and new project contracts ensure that the company is on schedule.

Muenster - Kenersys is going to deliver three turbines of the type K100 2.5 MW to an Investor in Sweden, installation of the turbines close to Vara is planned for autumn this year; project financing is secured by a local bank. Further projects in Sweden are in the company\'s pipeline. \"In Sweden the feedback to our turbines is very good\", the managing director Dr. Andreas Reuter points out and refers to the two Swedish prototypes K100 2.5MW and K82 2.0MW that were installed last year and handed over to the customers Vattenfall and Göteborg Energi.\"

\"Despite a market environment, that really didn\'t provide easy conditions for a market entry, we managed the break through from a designer and developer to a manufacturer of wind turbine generators in serial production\", Dr. Andreas Reuter is pleased.


Germany, Sweden and India generate growth

The company with its design and development center based in Muenster/Westfalen relies on a well balanced mix of frame and project contracts with project developers and energy providers. Apart from the Swedish projects, negotiations in Germany with project developers entered the final stages. Turbines with a hub height of 135 meters from the frame contract with Juwi will be installed.this year and in 2011. In addition to that in spring two pilot turbines are going to be installed in Grevesmühlen in the direct vicinity of the production plant in Wismar.

On the Indian sub continent the company has closed a frame contract for 98 MW with India\'s largest independent energy provider Tata-Power. The first two turbines have already been commissioned. Another 6 turbines are to be installed before the start of the monsoon.


Evolutionary technical concept of the Kenersys-turbines is well received

\"The technical concept of our turbines is good. This has repeatedly been confirmed by the companies we are negotiating with. In particular the classical drive train concept with its various improvement approaches and our innovative electrical concept with an electrically excited synchronous generator and full conversion system provide the customers with a reliable and absolutely grid compatible turbine\", Dr. Andreas Reuter emphasizes and considers Kenersys in the upswing. \"In the next months we are harvesting the crops of our extensive sales activities in the past year.\"

Kenersys is a worldwide operating manufacturer of wind turbine generators. Founded in 2003 as RSB-Consult the company has become part of the Kalyani Group since 2007. With its two platforms K82-2.0MW and K100-2.5MW the company focuses on the on-shore market. A total of 140 employees work for the company group, about 70 employees are engaged in development, logistics and sales of wind turbine generators at the headquarters in Muenster/Westfalen. The production is based in Wismar.
