Record number of turbines commissioned by Denker & Wulf AG in 2009

Sehestedt - During the current fiscal year, Denker & Wulf has so far commissioned 83 new wind turbine generators. Until the end of the year 2009 Denker & Wulf AG will have connected 90 new WTG with a total output of 169.10 MW to the national grid. 2009 is thus the most successful year in its 14 year company history.

An increasing number of employees take care of the growing wind business. During 2009 Denker & Wulf AG has hired 7 new architects, technical engineers and secretaries. The total number of employees has risen to 41.

In response to this promising development Denker & Wulf AG has laid the foundation stone for a new company headquarter. From next summer, the so-called Windmühlenberg in Sehestedt will be the new address of the northern German project developer. A modern building will accomodate 60 – 70 employees and gives room for the growing business. A solar field as well as a small wind turbine will complete the new location overlooking the Kiel Canal.

In addition to this, the new location will house an \"Energy Trail\" explaining different forms of alternative energy to adults and children with exhibits and presentation boards.
