Solar Info Center is model for a similar project in South Korea

Freiburg - The Solar Info Center Freiburg is model for a similar project in South Korea: Representatives of governmental development companies for the City of Sejong and Rolf C. Buschmann, managing director of the Solar Info Center and EnEd GmbH, signed an agreement for the mutual development of a Green Info Center.

The Green Info Center is part of an ambitious project: Sejong will be established as a new administration city south of Seoul. The city will count 500.000 inhabitants and will consider ecological criteria starting with the planning phase. A building-, transport- and waste-concept will be developed based on state-of-the-art green technologies.

The developing partner of the south korean center is EnEd GmbH – clean energy solutions, Freiburg. In autumn they expect a korean delegation in order to find further business partners for cooperations in the field of renewable energy.

In december 2008 a major investor from Singapore already announced his intention of developing the Asia Renewable Energy Center in the city state together with EnEd Asia.

At the Solar Info Center Freiburg 45 companies with about 400 employees are located. Within the building you can find office-, production- and research- facilities for companies of the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector on an area of 14.000 m2.
