Ad-hoc release: Phoenix Solar AG appoints Chief Sales Officer

Sulzemoos - In an extraordinary meeting, the Supervisory Board of Phoenix Solar AG (ISIN DE000A0BVU93), a leading photovoltaic systems integrator listed in the TecDAX, today made sales an new area of Board Member responsibility and appointed Ulrich Reidenbach as a regular member of the Board of Directors. Ulrich Reidenbach will be responsible for global sales in the Components & Systems and Power Plants segments. The sales units operating within the company will therefore be combined under the responsibility of one Board member.

Ulrich Reidenbach (born in 1959) holds a degree in civil and industrial engineering. He brings extensive sales experience from a number of different positions. Since 1999, he has been Managing Director for Germany and, most recently, Commercial Director for Western and Central Europe at a leading manufacturer of building components. He will take up his new duties on 1 December 2008.
