Sulzemoos, 15 March 2006 / By the start of March, Phönix SonnenStrom AG (ISIN DE000A0BVU93) had signed contracts for solar electricity plants with a total volume of more than EUR 9 million. These contracts include the construction of a green field photovoltaic power plant with a peak output of 1.1 megawatts (MW) for Haimhausen, a municipal company located in the district of Dachau, and an additional ground-mounted solar electricity plant with a peak output of 800 kilowatts (kW) in Laudenbach near Würzburg. A private investor has commissioned a roof-mounted photovoltaic system generating 250 kilowatt peak in Höfarten, in the district of Aichach-Friedberg.

Due to this year's long winter, construction of all three plants can not begin until the second quarter of this year, with completion planned in the summer.
